Ok so this is for those people who know about Japanese ones sure you can talk about the new ones but I'de really rather youu not cuz the old ones rule

I'll break your logic by talking about a new old one.
Currently, there is a Fire Emblem game in production for the DS, using the same story as the very first one (the one that features Marth and is for the NES), and will feature graphics similiar to those in the SNES games, but not the GBA ones.
What does this mean? Not much, just we can see the game without using a Rom Fanslation.

Thank god for that.... I'm one of those Fire Emblem holics who have only played the the newer ones, but who are waiting for their next fix. *shoots up with fire emblem* ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh, sweet release.

Here are some screenshots for those not willing to really look them up.
So far, I have to say, I really like the idea of the map being on the bottom, with any action/menu/etc. on the top. Can't say I care for the character portraits. Most likely, the bottom screen will be used to select characters and move them. Knowing the people behind FE, they won't use it too gimmicy. The Wii game had 4 types of controls, if I can remember correctly.
